Situated in the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park with the support of the Energy Conservation Promotion Fund, the Energy Policy and Planning Office, Ministry of Energy, The Energy for Environment Centre is the centre for the dissemination of knowledge on energy conservation and environment.
The aims are to disseminate knowledge about energy conservation, prepare a training camp for energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. The Centre consists of the Exhibition in Honor of the Royal Family, the Environmental and Energy Exhibition, the Exhibition in Sufficiency Economy and the Energy and Environment Library, all are provide information related to energy and environment, with a diverse and interesting presentation.
The Exhibition in Honor of the Royal Family
The Exhibition in Honor of the Royal Family is to prepared for the dissemination of royal duties and projects due to the initiative of His Majesty the King , Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, HRH the Princess Mother, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in fields of development and environmental restoration in degraded areas to regain its abundance as their original condition. The Royal duties provide tremendous benefits to the people of Thailand in all areas nationwide. The King’s royal duties in the development of renewable energy aim to provide energy for Thai people, reduce an import of energy from foreign countries by using solar energy, biodiesel, hydroelectric and Wind Power Turbines at Klong Lat Pho and etc. A publishing of the Project of the Royal Duties aims to draw a realisation of Thai people in the divine grace, understanding and have an awareness of energy conservation and environmental and together protect an environment to present a merit to the Royal Family. The design concept for the exhibition is under the title “Royal Activities on Environment and Energy”.
In addition, the exhibition also presents a history of the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park, which contains guidelines to implement the works of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in order to spread the honor of her remarkable ability in the conservation of natural resources and environment.

The energy realization
This exhibition provides information about the energy and global warming crisis, so the users are aware of the importance of energy. Since energy is important for daily life, but with limited, thus should reduce the energy consumption and use as necessary, including the use of renewable energy as a solution to the crisis. The presentation is divided into five parts: the Energy Crisis, the Global warming Crisis, the Fossil Fuels, the ways out of the crisis and the Renewable Energy.
The energy saving we can do
This exhibition provides an awareness of saving energy at home. Starting from the design and use of electrical appliances in the house, save energy by using public transportations and energy saving from cars using. Giving knowledge of the garbage that is generated on a daily basis and examples of the recycling of garbage.
The necessary knowledge in energy technology
The exhibition presents an overview of energy technology in a using, a generation and an innovative in energy conservation, including the knowledge of the auto power (Ft) and an intelligent electricity network. The presentation is divided into two parts: the first part is to present the innovative in light, battery, fuel cell and hydrogen. The second part presented on automatic electricity bill and intelligence electricity network.
Exhibition of sufficiency economy
The Exhibition presents information of how to apply the sufficiency economy philosophy in everyday life. It divided into two parts : the first one is an exhibition of a learning centre of philosophy of sufficiency economy. This exhibition presents the initiative of His Majesty the King, in an applying of the principle of sufficiency as a guideline for living. That is a moderately, the great immunity in yourself together with having knowledge and morality at the same time. This will lead to a steady and balanced in life and get ready for the change. With the support of the Crown Property Bureau, the second exhibition is related to the energy under the sufficiency economy. It presents of knowledge about renewable energy and energy conservation technologies, to expand the knowledge to the local communities and communities around the country.
In the Exhibition, there is an exhibition and demonstration of renewable energy include microwave ovens, billionaire oven, biomass oven, 200 liters stove tank, high performance barbecue grill, compressor fuel assemblies and energy exhibition consists of transparency tiles, ventilator ball, lamp set, smokeless incinerator, solar dryer supported by the Department of Alternative Energy Development And Efficiency , the Minister of Energy.
The Energy and Environment Library
The Energy and Environment Library is a part of the services within the Energy for Environment Centre. The main principle is to become a centre of books and media in energy and the environment. The Library can be used as sources for the researches in teaching and learning. It produces books and media for distributes to needed schools and creates networking and publicises knowledge related to energy and the environment.
